The Tonar Record Weight reduces vibrations during playback allowing the cartridge to convey the information in the groove of the record more effectively increasing overall detail. Suitable for all turntables with a fixed spinal the record weight will also improve the sound on thinner records that may be uneven as the weight will push the record down onto the platter.
