The Lavardin Model ISx Reference is a direct evolution of the Model ISx and thanks to its additional features, it “gives more than an idea” of what the more expensive model, the Model ITx, is capable of. Circuit design and upgraded power supply receive some special attention compared to the standard ISx.
The power output remains the same as for the Model ISx, but micro-dynamics and resolution are increased to allow greater expression thus also the sound stage is wider, detail is sharper and the presentation is more mature, even if the sound balance remains respectfully neutral as with the Model ISx.
