The Analysis Plus Pure Silver USB is a double-shielded cable with a large signal wire of 28 AWG and power of 24 AWG to avoid voltage drop. The conductors are 99.99% pure silver and also twisted to reduce Electromagnetic interference. The connector pin is gold-plated.
There are noise signals that will affect digital signal transmission. USB bulk transfer protects signal integrity by hardware detection and requests re-transmission.
