The Lavardin Model ITx 20 is a direct evolution of the Model ITx. Its exacting circuits and power supply receive special upgrades in order to further allow the fantastic potential of our low-memory technology to come to fruition. The power output remains the same as for the Model ITx, but micro-dynamics and resolution are increased to allow greater expression of the feeling and intention of the music. Thus also the sound stage is wider, the detail is sharper and the presentation is more mature, even if the sound balance remains respectfully neutral as with the Model ITx.
Its extreme transparency, over the full bandwidth, is in contrast with mid-band focused transparency of the best tube amplifiers. Its micro dynamics, never aggressive, clumsy or confused is in contrast with almost all transistor and digital amplifiers. Never has an amplifier done so much at such an affordable price, for music and for the pleasure of the listener.
The Model ITx is the first commercial audio amplifier in the world to be based on Lavardin’s original “Memory Free” technology. Now with remote volume control!
The IT series is a unique technological achievement resulting from 12 years of research and thousands of hours of listening tests. The elegant flagship of the Lavardin Technologies range, it is also a potent demonstration of the significance of discoveries, denied by some and used in marketing by others…
The Model ITx 20 is a minimalist design and uses extremely accurate high-performance memory-free circuitry. It is operated manually and has a line-level source selection for up to four unbalanced inputs, no tape output and no phono facility.
